How to Use
- Start with the guard, longer than you think.
New to the Trimmer? Set the dial to 4 or 5 and reduce from there. Going shorter than your hair is now in one pass is how you end up uneven. - Tilt the head and don't press it flat.
A slight angle lets the blade glide. Pressed flat against the skin, the head builds heat and the blade catches. - Short strokes. With the grain.
One-inch strokes, moving in the direction of hair growth. Long strokes drag across changing skin geometry, especially on the neck and jaw. That's where nicks happen. - Light pressure. The motor does the work.
If you're pushing down to make the blade catch, the blade is overdue or the angle is wrong. Reset, don't push harder. - For close work without a guard.
The guard comes off for edge work like beard lines, sideburns, mustache. Same rules: slight tilt, short strokes, no pressure. This is precision work. Slow down.
Rinse. Replace the blade every three months. Tap under running water after each use. If the blade starts pulling or tugging, replace it.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the Razorloom Trimmer suitable for daily use?
For beard shaping and length maintenance, yes, daily use is fine. For a full close shave on your face, no. The Trimmer is built for precision work, not for shaving down to skin. If you want that close shave, use the Single Edge SE.
Can I use the Razorloom Trimmer for precision grooming?
That's what it's built for. Sideburns, beard edges, mustache, neckline. The narrow head reaches under the nose where wider trimmer heads can't. Use it without the guard for the cleanest lines.
How long does the battery last?
90 minutes on a full charge. Most users get about three weeks of regular trims between charges. Full recharge takes about six hours on the induction base.
How often do I need to replace the blade, and how much does it cost?
Every three to four months at two-to-three trims per week. Replacement MicroBlades are sold separately here.
Complete Your Routine

Built to Shape, Not to Shave
The narrow MicroBlade head is built for the work cartridge razors can't do well: clean edges along a beard line, defined sideburns, neat mustache work, the corners where a wide razor head gets clumsy. It's ideal for shaping sideburns, tidying around a mustache, and getting a crisp edge on a beard or goatee. For maintaining a beard at a set length, it does that. For shaving your face smooth, use a razor like our Single Edge SE.

The MicroBlade
Dual-edge stainless steel. The two edges work in both directions, so you can shape an edge on the push and the pull, which is useful for cheek lines and sideburns where your wrist wants to move two ways. The head is thin enough to reach under the nose, where wider trimmer heads get clumsy. Replace the blade every three months.

One Dial. Twelve Lengths.
Other trimmers ship with three or four click-on plastic combs you lose in a drawer. The Razorloom Trimmer has one adjustable guard with twelve length settings, from 0.5mm stubble to a full 10mm beard. Turn the dial, set the length, trim. No swapping combs mid-grooming. No combs to lose.

Wet or Dry
Trim with lather, trim dry, trim in the shower. The body is waterproof. Rinse the head under the tap when you're done.

Seamless Induction Charging
Lithium-ion battery, 90 minutes of run time, full charge in about six hours. The charging base is also the counter stand. Drop the Trimmer in when you're done and it charges itself.
