Single Edge Razor Stand - Accessories

Single Edge SE Razor Stand

Goes on the counter, not in a drawer.

A counter stand that holds your Single Edge upright between shaves. Diecast zinc, coated in PVD chrome. Six finishes to match the razor you already own.

Standing the razor up does real work: the head dries instead of sitting in a puddle on the sink, and most customers get 30–40% more shaves per blade once they stop letting the head pool water. But mostly, it earns its spot on the counter.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is it made of?
Diecast zinc with a PVD chrome coating. Same coating spec used on watch cases. Each stand is machined to seat the Single Edge head clear of the base, so water runs off the blade instead of pooling under it. Dry blades last longer than wet ones.

Does it fit the MAX?
No. The MAX has a different base and won't seat properly. The stand for the MAX can be bought here.

Will the finish hold up around water?
Yes. PVD chrome is the same coating used on watch cases and high-end faucet finishes. Steam, splash, the occasional towel-swipe, none of it touches the finish. Rinse it when you rinse the razor.

Why does it matter if the head dries?
Single-edge blades are sharper, thinner, and more corrosion-prone than the stamped cartridges most razors use. Water sitting on the edge between shaves micro-pits the steel and dulls the blade two to three shaves earlier than it would otherwise. A stand keeps the head vertical so water runs off instead of pooling under the cap.

On the Counter, Not in a Drawer

Most shaving accessories live in a drawer. This one stays out.

The Single Edge isn't a disposable. It's machined metal, finished in chrome or PVD black, and it looks better holstered upright than lying in a puddle. The stand finishes the system. Razor, stand, lather jar; three objects that belong together on the counter, not three more things to put away.

If you're buying it for someone else: this is the part of the gift they'll actually keep out.
